HOTEL INFO

There are many hotels and motels in the Alexandria, Virginia area. We have chosen to avoid the Old Town Alexandria area because of parking, traffic and expense concerns, but it is a lovely place to visit and to stay, about 8 miles north of the wedding location via the George Washington Parkway. The hotel that has been recommended to us, if you wish to stay in a fancier hotel, is the Hotel Monaco Alexandria, http://www.monaco-alexandria.com/.

We have arranged to have rooms blocked and available for wedding guests to book at these three different hotels:

1) Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, Booking code: BCWD, Blair/Chu wedding. Must be booked by 3/15/12. Located about 15 miles from wedding location, via the George Washington Parkway starting in Old Town Alexandria and traveling south to Mount Vernon, but the hotel is very close to where Eliza and Arthur live.

2) Hampton Inn & Suites Mount Vernon, Booking code: BCW, Blair/Chu wedding. Must be booked by 3/30/12. Located 3 miles south of the wedding location, near intersection of Mount Vernon Memorial Highway and Route 1 (Richmond Highway).
